Ambiguity of algorithms to identify T2 D patients in complex data sets and data quality issues in routine clinical data sources such as electronic health records (EHRs) are still hindering the development of generalizable approaches to identify T2 D patients across different health systems.

Similarly, CRF has been used to identify skin cancer with sensitivity and specificity of 100% and 90%, respectively [7,9]. In the same way, the CFR parameter will be used in the present study as a biomarker for lung cancer detection, based on impedance spectroscopy in the β frequency range [15]. The CRF measurements are obtained using a tetrapolar electrode system, as shown in Figure 2.
