Acceptability of Telelactation Services for Breastfeeding Support Among Black Parents: Semistructured Interview Study

Acceptability of Telelactation Services for Breastfeeding Support Among Black Parents: Semistructured Interview Study

Studies have shown that racial and cultural concordance can result in more positive health behaviors, beliefs, and outcomes [17,18]. For example, a systematic review of 40 studies found that racial concordance is consistently associated with better communication [19]. Another study compared information-seeking behavior following receipt of targeted health messaging and found that racially aligned physicians were perceived as more trusting sources of information among Black participants [20].

Rethinking the Difficult Patient: Formative Qualitative Study Using Participatory Theater to Improve Physician-Patient Communication in Rheumatology

Rethinking the Difficult Patient: Formative Qualitative Study Using Participatory Theater to Improve Physician-Patient Communication in Rheumatology

Concordance reflects the degree to which patients and practitioners agree with the treatment plan [16,17]. A core component of concordance is empathy [18], which can be divided into 3 domains: cognitive, emotional, and behavioral. Although the cognitive and emotional domains are focused on understanding another person’s perspective (cognitive) and internalizing those feelings (emotional), behavioral empathy is the ability to express the (internally) experienced (cognitive and emotive) process [19].

Data Completeness and Concordance in the FeverApp Registry: Comparative Study

Data Completeness and Concordance in the FeverApp Registry: Comparative Study

Concordance is defined as the correspondence of the value of a data element with a reference source. Concordance is usually used as a DQI for data structure [14], but it can also be regarded as a DQI for the completeness of data [20]. As an alternative for completeness, it would be possible to use the DQI concordance under awareness that the physician’s registry could be seen as the gold standard for the data quality of EMA. It is common that fever events are recorded in pediatrician offices.

Integrating and Evaluating the Data Quality and Utility of Smart Pump Information in Detecting Medication Administration Errors: Evaluation Study

Integrating and Evaluating the Data Quality and Utility of Smart Pump Information in Detecting Medication Administration Errors: Evaluation Study

Finally, we developed a concordance assessment to understand the detection power and capabilities of the MAR data alone, the SPR data alone, and their overlap. We hypothesized that MAR discrepancies often represented documentation errors. As such, the use of a concordance measure could help differentiate documentation issues versus true administration errors, reflected by the concordance of the MAR and SPR discrepancies or SPR discrepancies alone.

Concordance Between Watson for Oncology and a Multidisciplinary Clinical Decision-Making Team for Gastric Cancer and the Prognostic Implications: Retrospective Study

Concordance Between Watson for Oncology and a Multidisciplinary Clinical Decision-Making Team for Gastric Cancer and the Prognostic Implications: Retrospective Study

There have been related reports on breast cancer [6-8], lung cancer [7-9], colorectal cancer [10], and other cancers, which have demonstrated high concordance between WFO and MDTs. However, research on gastric cancer has been limited so far. Therefore, our team conducted a retrospective study to evaluate the concordance between WFO and an MDT for patients with gastric cancer in order to explore the factors affecting concordance and the reasons for nonconcordance.
