Acceptance of Telemedicine by Specialists and General Practitioners in Cardiology Care: Cross-Sectional Survey Study

An exploratory quantitative analysis was performed to identify factors determining telecardiology use. To create a data matrix for the analysis, qualitatively recorded participants’ attitudes toward telecardiology as reported in the survey were recoded from left to right according to the direction of the hypothesis of positive attitudes, for example, the response options in relation to the a priori hypothesis that “Would you like to use telemedicine more often?”
