User-Centered Design for Designing and Evaluating a Prototype of a Data Collection Tool to Submit Information About Incidents of Violence Against Sex Workers: Multiple Methods Approach

User-Centered Design for Designing and Evaluating a Prototype of a Data Collection Tool to Submit Information About Incidents of Violence Against Sex Workers: Multiple Methods Approach

Sex workers are targets of violence, with 32% to 55% reporting violent experience in the previous year [2], but they often do not report violent incidents [2] in part because they encounter problems when they seek to report violence to police. In fact, police may arrest them for sex work instead of investigating violent crimes against sex workers; sex workers have also been victimized or harassed by police [3,4].

Afterward, the form will be collected by the EMTCC to aggregate the data into the daily reporting form. The daily reporting form is part of the EMT MDS designed by the WHO to be used in the EMTCC office. The daily reporting form itself has already been tested during disasters in some countries [13,18,19].

News Media Framing of Suicide Circumstances and Gender: Mixed Methods Analysis

In particular, one critical research need is to better elucidate the differences in unsafe reporting by gender when considering the differences in suicide-related behavior. While discussions of all suicide-related behavior are likely subject to unsafe reporting, this study aligns with the focus of existing work examining unsafe media portrayals of individual suicide deaths in particular.

Exploring the Potential of an Eye Tissue Donor Reporting App in Enhancing the Procurement of Corneal Donors: Mixed Methods Observational Study

Challenges such as a lack of knowledge about donor reporting methods, eligibility criteria, insufficient financing, and limited distribution of eye banks further hinder the procurement of donated tissues [3,4]. To address this critical issue, concerted efforts and innovative approaches are essential to augment the pool of corneal donors.

Thyroid Hyperplasia and Neoplasm Adverse Events Associated With Glucagon-Like Peptide-1 Receptor Agonists in the Food and Drug Administration Adverse Event Reporting System: Retrospective Analysis

The increased popularity of GLP-1 RAs and the unsettled association of thyroid hyperplasias and neoplasms prompted further investigation into the most recent US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS) data sets. In this study, we evaluated thyroid hyperplasia and neoplasm–related AEs that are reported as being associated with GLP-1 RA monotherapy when compared to sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 (SGLT-2) inhibitors monotherapy.

Newspaper Coverage of Hospitals During a Prolonged Health Crisis: Longitudinal Mixed Methods Study

However, the COVID-19 pandemic has been recognized by health communication scholars as the first large-scale health crisis to occur in a new media context, characterized by, among other elements, a deluge of information and misinformation [15,23,24], relatively high rates of skepticism toward media reporting [23,25], and new organizations involved in sharing information [23].

Race, Ethnicity, and Other Cultural Background Factors in Trials of Internet-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Depression: Systematic Review

Since then, the overall pattern of reporting demographic information has improved slightly. A more recent meta-analysis by Polo and colleagues [11] examines the trends in reporting and representation of racial-ethnic diversity in randomized controlled trials (RCT) of psychotherapy for depression for over 36 years. They found that reporting of racial-ethnic group membership increased from 16% to 55% during this time.
