Aiming at optimized postoperative recovery and using the current concept of mobile technology in health, we developed an app (mobile app for enhanced recovery after surgery [Mob ERAS]) for postoperative telemonitoring, with active participation of the patients in this process and the availability of real-time information for the health team. Mob ERAS is used as a tool to simultaneously guide and encourage patients to follow medical recommendations through the use of gamification.
