Mobile Phone Multilevel and Multimedia Messaging Intervention for Breast Cancer Screening: Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial

Mobile Phone Multilevel and Multimedia Messaging Intervention for Breast Cancer Screening: Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial

In a sample from the California Health Interview Survey in 2003, Korean Americans reported the lowest engagement in nearly every type of cancer screening test, with over half (57.4%) of Korean American women indicating that they had never received a mammogram or that their last mammogram had taken place over a year ago [10]. Among diverse Asian American ethnic groups, Koreans have repeatedly demonstrated the lowest rates of up-to-date mammography screening, ranging from 22% to 57% [10-18].
