One participant reported:
I think we focus more on the physical healing than the psychological healing. So, most people who had Covid, they are not okay. They had post-Covid depression or post-Covid anxiety. So, I think that there is a lot of mental health [care] that needs to be done post-Covid.

Focus groups were conducted in English or Spanish by a researcher (AC or IP-S) and a moderator (IP-S, JB-R, or AMS-M) with previous experience facilitating focus groups. The focus groups were held on the web using Microsoft Teams in April 2023. The focus groups lasted a total of 60 minutes. The size of the groups was small (4 participants on average) due to scheduling difficulties and time zone differences among countries.
A guide was developed based on the 3 Delphi rounds (Multimedia Appendix 2).

It’s good because it’s like I don’t have to go and park there to go see somebody.
Stakeholders believed newly diagnosed patients would be able to ask about symptoms without feeling guilt. In addition, they highlighted that the anonymity of the app may enable more people to feel comfortable contributing to the community without fear of being judged.

Aim 1 was to test concurrent associations among WS, physiological factors (leptin concentrations and postprandial GLP-1 response), behavioral indicators of RV-E (breakpoint on PR tasks) and reward satiation (ad-lib test meal intake), self-report of these core constructs, and binge-eating severity in BN-S. Aim 2 was to test prospective associations to determine whether WS predicts BN-S maintenance in longitudinal models and whether posited mediators also predict BN-S maintenance.
