(Toronto, Aug 20th 2020) We are happy to report that Clarivate has informed us that JMIR Public Health & Surveillance (JPHS) has been accepted for inclusion in SCIE (Science Citation Index Expanded) and SSCI (Social Sciences Citation Index) in the Public, Environmental & Occupational Health category. That also means that the journal will receive an 2020 Impact Factor to be released in the Journal Citation Reports in June 2021. Congratulations to editor-in-chief Prof Travis Sanchez and his editorial board, and of course a big thank you to all authors and reviewers who made this milestone possible with their outstanding contributions. We expect the 2020 Impact Factor (which measures the average number of citations to JPHS articles published in 2018-2019, cited in 2020) to be >3.5.
